Orchestra concert today :D We performed at the local high school. We were awesome! I got a small goodie bag from my ‘sponsor’, as I’m gonna be in that orchestra next year. She is such a sweet person! I got cookies, a notepad, earrings (my ears aren’t pierced though), a welcome card, and a pirate activity book. Makes me feel so special :) All the other sponsored people just...

Movies...
Last night I watched The Secret Life of Bees. It was such a good movie! For months I’ve only been watching comedies, since I bawl like a baby in any other movie and end up becoming the butt of a joke. But this one was really worth it. Good thing I had my tissues handy!
And I just found that Slumdog Millionaire is R rated. That really maddens me. So I’ll have to wait a couple months...
Today is Bryan’s birthday. It’s also been a great day for me! Here’s why:
1) Got my math test back. Missed the easy question, but got full marks on the toughest question and thus, a smiley face :D
2) 99% on my science test! I was expecting a solid A, so I was thrilled.
3) 100% on my poetry recitation in English. O Captain! My Captain! by Walt Whitman.

I HAVE FOUR LITTLE BABIES! I thought it was three, but it’s four! Four little asparagus bulbs! :D Just planted them today and watered them. I really hope they give me edible asparagus.
Today, I heard somewhere in the news about a sick guy who dognapped a golden retriever from an animal shelter and sodomized it.
People like that make me wish that technology was advanced enough to make human punch bags. As in, those punch bags that hang from ceilings, that boxers use to train. I wish it was possible and legal to just somehow hang that guy from the ceiling without strangling him,...

I got my mid-term grades! :D All A’s and 4 A+’s! And my orchestra grade went from A- to a solid A. BUT…I got 88% on my science test, and 92% on my history test, and my grades are slipping already.
My wrist is recovering quickly…hope it’ll be fine by Monday. Don’t wanna wear a wristguard thing to school..

This week stinks. My school system changed so the syllabus is going by more quickly, and we’re getting more homework. I’ve been having tons of bad luck. Spent 4 hours on an essay and realized I wrote about the wrong thing. Twisted my wrist today. My account has time restrictions for no reason whatsoever.

AAAAAAAAAHHHH. I swear, I’m pulling out half my hair right now. Been working on the same bloody essay for 7 hours. Stupid essay! I hate English class! This is so hard. I just need one more sentence…so close, yet so far.

At least I finished my math and science work. Rushed through it, scribbled everywhere, but got it done with.

Spent 6 hours at my father’s colleague’s home. Had a yummy lunch, jumped on a huge trampoline (first time on a trampoline in 4 years!), played ping pong (lost :[ ), had a freezing cake from Coldstone … I can’t wait for my next report card. I’ll go to Coldstone and get 7 extra scoops ;) A fair bit of homework to do tomorrow..at least none of it is due until Tuesday or...

I was positive I’d get a B on my math test and…I got 95%!!! And the thing is, if I had gotten a B, eh, I saw it coming. If I got better, yay!
